Having run my own businesses all my working life and, as an eager 12-year-old having my own window cleaning round, I have always understood the value of money and how hard it is to earn it, let alone save it.

I began as a Financial Adviser in 2006, following 15 years in manufacturing of plastic bags with my family firm which we set up when I left college. Over those years, I have always worked with company and people’s savings.

I am renowned for my no fuss, straight talking approach. Financial affairs can be complicated enough without the use of words and terminology that completely loses you.

I am a big believer that it is not easy to earn and even harder to save. Any help that I can give you along the way with savings in tax, costs and charges or running your savings and investments, could be a win for all of us.

In 2016, after years of advising clients on pensions, I took the plunge to expand my knowledge and became a Pension Transfer Specialist. Thus, allowing me to advise on the transfer of your final salary pension and then advise on the suitability of where that investment should go. In July 2017, the number of the advisers is 8000 of which only 3000 hold the appropriate regulatory requirements for this advice.
